Para muchos fans, la carrera de Johnny Depp se consolidó con su aparición en la saga de Piratas del Caribe como el capitán Jack Sparrow. El actor estadounidense protagonizó las cinco películas producidas por Disney, pero durante la filmación de la última entrega atravesó por una serie de problemas.

De acuerdo con un informe de la revista The Hollywood Reporter, el actor nacido en Kentucky era vigilado en secreto por la producción de Piratas del Caribe. Esto sucedió durante el rodaje de Dead Men Tell No Tales (La Venganza de Salazar) estrenada en mayo de 2017.

“Cuando se levantaba, encendía la luz, y en ese momento llamaban al productor, que luego llamaba a los directores: ‘¡Se levantó! ¡Se está preparando!’ Incluso tenían un término de código especial como ‘El águila ha aterrizado’. Johhny no tenía idea de lo que sucedía”, reveló una fuente anónima.

Según los reportes, Depp causó varios problemas a la producción durante el rodaje de La Venganza de Salazar. En una ocasión, el actor se lastimó gravemente el dedo y afirmó que su pareja Amber Heard lo había lesionado, por lo que los directores se vieron obligados a detener la filmación.

Johnny también fue señalado por llegar tarde al set en múltiples ocasiones, y la fuente asegura que constantemente consumía bebidas alcohólicas en la filmación. Sin embargo, todos los rumores del mal comportamiento de Depp en Piratas del Caribe no han sido confirmados.

I chose to perform this song live, for my friend @drbarbarasturm Covid benefit several weeks ago… I didn’t really know how to play it, but I figured I’d give it a shot, as it seemed to apply so well. And it applies now, more than ever. It was performed a couple of weeks before our collective paralysis was rendered complete by the images of our fellow human George Floyd being cruelly and brutally tortured to death on live TV. Let us take a moment to remember the sacrificial hero George Floyd and look with hope towards the changes that his tragic death will cause. And let’s salute the reluctant prophet Bob Dylan and the dream of change he inspired then, now, and onwards… His impact is that of Shakespeare, Marlowe, Hunter Thompson, Marlon Brando, Woody Guthrie, William Blake, Picasso, Bach and Mozart.
